I love your idea of paintings inspired by Italian movie stills. I have a tattered and fading photo snipped from the newspaper of the coffin and attendant carabinieri at Fellini's funeral in my "things to paint" file since he died. Thanks Hilary, I had the idea for a while but never really new how to go about it. I think I'm still in the process of figuring things out. That sounds like an amazing photo!!
